MeltAway mats are electrical, heated melting mats are light weight and durable exterior mats designed to melt snow and ice on contact to prevent snow accumulation on walkways, stairs. verandas and terraces. They come in a variety of sizes to accommodate a variety of uses and were created for safe use in both residential homes and commercial/office buildings. The stand alone MeltAway mats may be used individually or connected to one another to cover greater square footage. Simply, plug the product into a standard electrical outlet and put the snow shovel away.
